Ride the Virtualization Wave

Virtualization is becoming the norm.  Most organizations I talk with already have virtualized some of their servers or have plans to roll out virtual servers.  I get questions frequently on the process for going to virtual email servers.  Micheal Noel over at Windows IT Pro has written a great article on the requirements and some best  practices for virtualizing Exchange 2010.  Check it out below

Educators Rejoice !

In today’s on-demand, information-consumption-centric landscape, learning never stops, and it appears as though the folks at Microsoft have finally begun to dedicate an abundance of resources to assist learning professionals worldwide.

Yes, it’s true…. Microsoft has begun to use their search engine, Bing, as an influential learning tool.

Bing has received great reviews from global technical gurus over its response and its rate of returning relevant search information.  To take Bing even further are the new features offered especially for educators to improve the entire classroom experience.  Teachers can now take students on a 3D tour of historical places, view the human body down to the DNA level, interact with executives in a Wall Street boardroom, and much, much more.

These new educational provisions are sure to improve student attention and retention, ultimately making educators more effective.   Microsoft has put together a great guide on how to implement Bing in the classroom and we would love to hear some feedback on their efforts !
